Year 9 course selection

This page is for current year 9 students picking courses for year 10 next year. 

You have a total of 5 units of work in year 10. 

Before you do anything else, you need to select if you wish to be considered for the Sport in Education (SIE) class or go into regular Mainstream Core Classes. Choosing one of these will take up one of your units of work and means that your year 10 compulsory core classes of English, Science, Social Science, Health, Physical Education and Mathematics have been selected. 

You need to select 4 additional optional units of work by clicking on the "My Courses" button below. Each optional unit of work is a semester long course. You can also select backup options.

My Courses

To select the unit of work, click on the course from the list, then click the green "select as one of my courses" button. This should then turn red and your unit of work will be added to the list of courses. You will see the units of work available change in the top corner.

You can change your courses at any time before the end of week 6, Term 3 - 30th August 2024.

All courses are subject to sufficient student numbers and available staffing. The range of courses may change year to year. Courses run at the discretion of the NPBHS Headmaster.
